For those of you who haven't logged in yet or not seen it today's daily heroic story mission is The Buried City, Meridian Bay, Mars. At the end of said mission, we are made aware of the strange machine we need to scan and find out Rasputin is controlling it. Oddly enough, there is a corridor off to the right side of the map from when you originally enter, in the back area, which takes you to a strange cabinet and door with a blue light coming from underneath it and my brain did what it does best: Imagined the possibilities of what the heck is behind the mystery door. I imagine it is a lab. All around the walls are armor pieces we do not know, we have not seen, and our ghost is equally as baffled at what they are. Pay attention to this. It is important for later. On the far side of the room is another door. You go through it. Now you are in the equivalent of a danger room and on the far side of it is a very Metroid Prime looking shiny thing. For those of you who dare to walk forward, you get a flash of red once you cross 50% of the threshold for the door and it pounds shut. "Do not be alarmed Guardian. There is no threats in here. I am simply here to observe you." replies Rasputin... "The countless stones of time have turned and I have seen the horrors borne out of the darkness with missile barrages, armada destroying technologies barely scratching their thick defenses and yet... you are powerful and brave... to have defied them for as long as you have." "I have built this for you. All of you. I have tested and trialed it. I entrust it's powers to you... and your ghost." This was the secret Rasputin was hiding. It was his duty to hold and place into our hands when we were ready. "Take this Guardian but be careful. All I have accumulated is built into it... but I have barely survived the might of the Cabal, Fallen, and Hive for this long. You must become the new weapon system of this time." And with that, the red tape stops us, we walk forward. "UNLOCKED!" appears on the screen and we get the third subclass. Suddenly, the doors shoot open and we walk into the laboratory with a clue missing. The armor is now gone and the door to leave has been jammed. Something clearly punched the nearby controls. Maybe there's an exit through the other room. Queue the combat scenario against a robot wearing the armor we saw and is matching our 3rd subclass. I would love such a situation to occur... to fight an unknown... with a class I need to pick up quickly... oh yeah. I can't deny my titan would love such an opportunity. How about you?
