Just as a heads up, I am not that great at typing. I thought that since Destiny was advertised as a social game, that it could benefit from a Postal Service and with the inclusion of the Tess Everess Trading Company, it could fit in. This would also give the Postmaster and glimmer more of a purpose. My idea was to have a tab in the Postmaster menu that has five slots and a friends list similar to the "roster" tab in the pause menu. In each slot, players could insert items. The first slot would have a shipping fee of 1,000 glimmer and each slot after that would be reduced by 200 glimmer, (1000,800,600,400,200). The glimmer fees would reduce the amount of packages sent, therefore reducing the stress on the servers and inhibiting players to ship high level gear to low level players essentially ruining the experience for them. Once the player inserts the items, he could then choose a friend to send it to. The last step would ask you if you wanted to customize your package for 200 more glimmer. This would add "wrapping paper" and could include options such as; Christmas, Polka Dots, Hearts, Stripes, (and for the hardcore who have defeated Oryx) Oryx's Hide. For example, if I were to send my friend a Hawksaw, 10 motes of light, and an exotic shard with an Oryx's Hide wrapping paper, it would cost me 2,600 glimmer. My friend would then receive his package at the Postmaster and would have the option to "return to sender" or claim it. If you think this would be a welcome addition to Destiny that you would use, please favorite this Topic so that Bungie can see and if you have any suggestions, feel free to comment. Have a nice day.

I'm not sure about the trading guns, but we could for a lot of stuff I guess. It could be cheap to send motes and maybe materials and stuff for your friends as gifts, and the wrapping paper is definitely a good idea xD
cmon bungie listen to the audience
