I've been playing trials now for a good portion of the weekend. I'm not great, I'd call myself below average, but I can do well on occasion. I'm fine never going flawless, I'm fine losing often as I'm learning about the game mode itself and maybe getting a little better, along with some loot. All in all, good changes. I'm currently on a 6 win card, it was flawed on Friday, just trying to reach 7 wins on a card for the first time ever. Since it is card based matching, I expected to match against people with similar cards (5-7 win flawed cards). This was not the case, however, in that most of my matches tonight sent at least one person to the lighthouse. To those people, congrats. Enjoy your rewards. My suggestion is to adjust matchmaking so that this type of match doesn't happen. Entry to the lighthouse should, in my opinion, be gained after besting a team vying for that same chance. A special queue for those with 6 win, flawless cards. I understand it will likely never happen, but it could make things a little more enjoyable for those of us unfortunate enough to be the final stepping stone for people to reach the lighthouse when we have no chance on our current cards.
