Issue: Shadowkeep quest "In the Deep" seems to hard crash to desktop. I caught the crash on video (YT link). The footage is from an external monitor and is of the game with HDR on (I wanted to reproduce my normal conditions accurately, but it looks blown out, sorry) but it does actually happen on the main display with HDR off too. The issue appears 100% repeatable (it happened 5 times in a row before I stopped retrying with different conditions)
Reproduction Steps
0) Forget shadowkeep exists
1) Get to step (???) / 19 (In the Deep) in the shadowkeep campaign (apparently it's the second mission?)
2) Walk over to the flag wot starts the mission and start it
3) Observe in horror as your guardian's light is extinguished forever (it takes like, i'unno, some amount of time between "instantly after loading" to "a minute or two" to crash)
Actual result: The game crashes to desktop
Expected result: The game gives me terrible rolls on items
Notes:
I don't actually know that this is a shadowkeep bug or something with this quest specifically but uh, I mean hey the game hasn't crashed on me at all in months except for right here. I even did moon stuff today and it was fine until that step.
Honestly I don't really care about the quest but it seems like the only way I can get Phoenix Cradle is by finishing the campaign (lol). Hypothetically, I would be happy if you just put it in the lost sector/vex incursion pool, but I know players suggesting fixes gets you folks apoplectic so I'll just pretend to not have even thought of doing such a thing.
If there's other stuff you need on your end to narrow this down lemme know.
