Every time I try to enter the Pit of Heresy dungeon without a checkpoint, it crashes. This makes flawless, solo flawless, and solo attempts impossible. When I start the game up again, I have the Necropolis checkpoint, so it's not unplayable but I am unable to do a fresh run without a crash.
EDIT: The Pit encounter crashes consistently and I am unable to progess at all.
EDIT 2: Turning off SFX in game (setting it to 0) seems to stop the crashes.

It doesn't want you to experience a terrible Dungeon with terrible weapons and armour

Turn your sound off. The audio bug is causing crashes in pit and kings fall. On PC it seems you can just disable any 3d audio enhancements, on consoles it seems you can try turning off Dolby Atmos or changing your audio output to "stereo uncompressed" in your console settings, or just turning your in-game audio volume all the way down while you run either of those activities. It sucks, I'm honestly a little blown away that Bungie didn't feel that this was worthy of an emergency hotfix but it is what it is for now.

Yeah my buddy got to the next encounter and we spawned in on him just fine. It’s just the entrance.

Edited by Olórin: 5/8/2023 1:57:43 AMSame for me. I get passed the entrance, through the green gateway and just before entering the Ogre section my game froze and cut out lol Any and every other game on my Series X ive played runs pretty smooth with minimum issues, so i honestly dk whats going on. Edit, just seen your update, ill turn SFX off when im next on. Thanks!
