I have been having a persistent Marmot error problem for roughly two weeks now and I have had no luck at all trying to troubleshoot the error.
I went to Steam Verification, said that all 1707 files are fine but when I go to BattlEye and look in there it keeps failing to update before launching Destiny anyway. I've uninstalled/reinstalled countless times, deleted a few files, got them back by Steam verify, restarted PC and wifi, made a Steam support ticket but all I got was a pat on the back and a cookie for doing all the things basic tech IT would tell you before being sent off empty-handed. I've cleared BattlEye through my firewall, done virus/malware checks but again, to no avail.
When I went to the subreddits and help forums I kept seeing the basic 'run through Steam verify and restart, should be fine' but I guess that's really not the case for me. Can I get some help?

Have you also tried reisntalling Steam and Destiny 2 on a different partition/hard disk?
