A PVP Labs game mode called “Hunt” where one, two, or three members of each team are randomly placed on the other team at the start of the game (regardless of people being in a fireteam). Your goal is to Hunt them, and score extra points for your team by killing them, or points for defending your own “Hunted” team member(s). It doesn’t have to be weighted very heavily.
Inspired by the great feeling of seeing your best friend on the other team and trying to kill them before they kill you.
You can add in mechanics like proximity penalties to movement for the “Hunted” member to prevent trolling or throwing. Or maybe the further they stray away from a specific zone the less points are awarded for the kill.
You could even randomize who the “Hunted” player is per person. For example, Player 1 might have to “Hunt” Player 7, while Player 2 might have to “Hunt” Player 11. This way it’s on an individual basis and would be a lot harder to troll or intentionally throw.
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
