New mode idea
I have come up with an interesting idea for a new Gambit/IB mode collaboration.
Iron Banner Tribute, its literally a Gambit mode in PVP or it was til Bungie replaced it after community feedback.
I vote we make a new Gambit mode based around Iron Banner Tribute, give it Gambit maps and extend the time for the bank before it teleports, make it randomly spawn your teams bank in one of the three areas on the map that normally spawn enemies.
Randomly spawn a Taken Knight that carries extra Crests.
Every time Crests are banked it spawns a blocker that hunts the opposing team.
(5, 10, 15, 20)
Make this a 6v6 only mode, kill enemy team, collect Crests, bank them Gambit style, the most Crests banked win, kills without banking Crests won't count to score, only banked Crests add to score.
Make Drifter and Saladin as announcers for this collab Gambit/IB mode.
For this mode, give it a unique engram you can focus into either a an
Adept Gambit gun or Adept IB gun,
high-stat 70+ armor, or used to create a red-border Gambit or IB weapon.

It's amazing to me that Bungie can come out and say they're not supporting Gambit anymore, because people don't play it, and we still get these posts. Even more amazing is you admit that the mode you're trying to replicate was so poorly received Bungie had to emergency-replace it lol. Taking two things people have been very vocal about not liking/playing and trying to shove them together seems like a bad idea, just from the jump.

Bungee are only able (or care) to recycle existing game mode ... They cant even remove the togetherness perk from : the coils activity Even after saying in a Twab that they removed it it was still there But somehow if the game could be open to mod ( i know it would never happen) Literaly 1 dude with spare time would be able to create so much game mode. Game content would go beyond the roof in a week ...
