And I mean it is utterly horrible

Edited by Insatiable: 3/31/2024 2:04:55 PMNah it's a good map. I'm a handcanon user and love the variety in it . Not everything has to be catered to handcanon shotty gameplay

Pick up a Pulse or Scout and stop aping…

Bungie: Makes new PvP* Players: Complaining* Bungie: Stop making maps* Players: complaining that there are no new maps* Bungie: f*** off
-
Punishes players that can't function without an auto rifle. It's a great map
-
I’ve learned to love it. It’s a long range map. If you don’t know the openings you’ll be melted.
-
Agreed

Try Wishender

Edited by TheLastBlackKnight: 4/1/2024 3:23:21 PMYes. It’s the worst map in the game. Edit: it is tied with that one dreaming city map.
-
The map’s great for 6v6 but doesn’t play good at all for 3v3. Having 2 points in the wide outer area definitely makes it even worse.
-
Solid map, love it for trials, lots don't know how to play long range and it showed this weekend in trials lol

If I think of my favourite big maps, they have long, straight lanes that crisscross and connect different areas (eg Widow’s Court and Rusted Lands). Multiplex feels a bit like a jumbled mess. There are lots of areas that feel seperated from each other. I seem to spend more time searching for the enemy, or rejoining my team after spawning in. Maybe that’s the point — to offer a different experience. Maybe it’s just not to my taste. I’d rather have some variety in the map pool, so I wouldn’t want to lose it entirely.

I think it's one of the better-looking maps...I really enjoy the network aesthetic.
-
It seemed to have the same problem of people acclimating themselves to no special ammo. For me it improved faster than stages from previous weeks, possibly due to people being more used to not having special at this point. The one thing I do like about it is that it's not an instant group blob map. With some of the others that's really all you can do after the special changes but at least with this one you can take chances with flanking every so often.
-
It's an OK map, and I don't mind the long range gunplay. But I do think it's too large for 3v3. Matches take too long.

Regret
Lore-Deity - old
I really enjoyed it -
Dont play this week then maybe?????
-
I think Multiplex is by far the best "big" map Bungie has created, with the possible exception of some D1 maps. Bungie should have made a lot more Flag Positions and spawn points for Trials to take advantage of how many cool areas the map has
-
Large maps can be great, but every space needs to be intentional and with a purpose. Most of the large maps they make, everyone just sprints for thirty seconds and plays the core. I miss Bungie Halo 😭
-
…And THIS is why Bungie was HIGHLY hesitant on making new maps… Two new maps hated. Why would they continue making them when they just can’t satisfy their players.
-
Nobody likes it. The map should be sunsetted.
-
I honeslty don't mind the map tho! Just rock a scout and sidearm/SMG and boom! Strand and Void are pretty good on that map as well :) (I went flawless on my second Mercy card) Good luck to whoever tries going flawless this week :D

I was LiKE, he was LIKE, she was LIKE, they were LIKE, LIKE, LIKE, LIKE…..
-
Personally I like it. It's easy to see players at a distance.

Edited by Franco-Nevada: 3/31/2024 7:57:51 AMYeah, it's so bad I actually switched to Void and started using Blink for the first time ever. Not winning much, but definitely having fun zooming around the map. It clearly drives opponents crazy. One second they think they got you, then *blink* where'd he go.
