Oh yeah, your right, she would choose who she wants, then send to fight for her, never to see her again ...she would then complain how unprepared said partner was when going to war, then move on to the next... I like this getting deep into the character...better than reading the other 90% of complaints and looking for a fight...lol

Hell if you know the lore of the distributary then you know she manipulated all the awoken into a schism from the start. As a matter of fact her narcissism is what along with savathuns hive magic allowed her to be manipulated to such an extent. The mission to get the worm launcher was also a great character moment showing how much she (didn't) trust us and vice versa But not someone you should ever let get too close, because she'll act in what she believes is the "greater good"

I just got the notifications turned around... It's where it needs to be now. Mara manipulated the Vanguard into exterminating the Amhakara... that's real, it happened. She hid the egg. That's real... it happened. She removed Savathun's wurm without oversight... and as a result Savathun escaped. That's real. It happened. She calls us her "Milton Reenactment" while also admitting to defying the light to shelter from the storm... manipulating the path by "placing the stones". A bunch of red flags. She's the only "good" character to have a Throne World... her powers of darkness admittedly come from Savathun. She planted the Tree of Wings on Io... that now looks like the Tree of Woe with Savathun twisted amongst its bark and branches... cursed like Prometheus... Who gave "light"/fire to mortals. So many signs 😇👍💠.
