Read between the lines, people. They knew people would be rubbed the wrong way with this news.
They're only doing this to get players to chase these SAME WEAPONS again, with new perks. And gonna call it "New Content". And the fanboys will love it.
They know once we deleted these in our vaults, there is no way to recover them OTHER than to reissue with new perks to chase.
Classic bait and switch. When they said something about adding more vault space, that was a clue.

Nothing like a 4 year, switched game directors 2 times, bait and switch. They really fooled us into leaving the game and starving them out.
