A game of inequality

I’ve played destiny since 2015 and I’ve experienced pretty much all the game has to offer at all levels. One thing has struck me unfortunately is the ever present toxicity and the have, and have not social environment that leads to this. We have an existing system that some old raid exotics are purchasable from spoils and other high end currency. Why not time gate from 3/6 months all raid exotics to appear in this inventory. High end gamers get early access be it RNG based and if your luck runs out you still get the weapon like everyone who can grind spoils from a chest. Everyone in the game should be able with (Effort and Time) to get access to the items that bring enjoyment. There are many people who are missing out in the game. Time and effort should be rewarded. I’ve joined multiple raid teams and there are great people willing to help but unfortunately just as many bad apples appear. I just grind a few spoils chests these days due to certain peoples behaviour in the community. Other people with real social problems just avoid this content due to toxicity. I think pantheon is a good start in this direction. Maybe an encounter from a raid each week on a rotator would be a great way for people to learn and step to high end content. They would acquire valuable experience and confidence gather some spoils and raid weapons. Of course high end gameplay should come with early rewards. And I certainly do appreciate that playing with inexperienced players can be very frustrating. But in time all these things should be with hard work and effort be available to all.

I appreciate the spirit in which this post is intended, but two issues stand out for me. 1. Time and effort are rewarded through the raids. 2. A raid encounter rotation would still have the same issues that raids do now; players need to be willing and able to work as a team and if they're incapable/unwilling to do so for the raids, how would things be different in the rotation? Pantheon is a perfect example of this. Read the forum and you'll see that even if it's just an encounter and not a full leg of a raid, problems still arise. I'm not aiming to sound like an elitist or a "gatekeeper," I haven't even attempted Pantheon yet myself. But the very problems that come with raids and a player's perspective on them would likely occur with a raid encounter rotation.
