Im a sucker for D1's original aesthetic, but I think not many armor sets keep that nowadays. A set like this would be so cool to see in game...

The biggest limitation with armor as of right now is that it’s either really ugly, boring, or sleek. As compared to D1 armor, we don’t have that Aysmetric armor that looks like it was built from the corpses of our enemies. Raid armor, while very interesting, does not feel like it was made from what we find in the raid, as opposed to just matching the theme of the raid. The best example of this is armor from Last Wish, Deep Stone Crypt, Vow of the Disciple, and Root of Nightmares. Why can’t we make the Titan look like he stole part of Nezerecs Fan Wing things on his back? Why can’t we have a Warlock have the Rhulk collar? Why can’t a Hunter have a cape made from Rivens Scales and Bones? There is a place and time for sleek armor, especially should we deal with a dungeon or raid that takes place in an environment that does not give you any sort of material to work with. Like that of Prophesy or Duality. You cant steal Nightmares, and there weren’t many materials in Prophecy that could be turned into armor. Nothing that could be taken.
