Tbh the way it fundamentally works would have to be different if Bungie still gets errors with it literal years after originally testing it. Surprisingly I think that grand overture works would be a good base. It has a charge time before shooting in full auto, just with individual rounds rather than a burst If they made pocket infinity a linear fusion with the same firing mechanic as overture, a really fast full auto fire speed and a massive mag I think it would work.
