Error code: Weasel

Since the launch of version 8.0.0.3 I haven’t been able to access the game, right after selecting character before I have chance to do anything I get sent back to the main menu with error code weasel. I play on steam. I have verified game files, deleted cache, unlinked from all 3rd party apps such as dim and d2 armour picker, I’ve reset my router, hard reset my pc, uninstalled and reinstalled destiny, deleted temp game files, everything you can think of, every other game works fine and I have over 500mps download speed. I’ve tried everything I can find on the internet and still have no luck. Can anyone please help before I lose my mind. Thanks.

    • Same for me. I can't play more than 20 minutes before I get disconnected. It's not my network... every other game works fine. But I'll go through the suggested settings and see if it helps.

    • OMG same issue. I have been losing my head over this. Yesterday it was fine but today I just keep getting this weasel error right after I select my character. If that doesn't happen right away then I get the cursed "Connecting to Destiny 2 server" to pop up a few times then I get the weasel error. If by a miracle I get inside I will most likely disconnect within 30 minutes and it throws different kinds of error codes. I checked my modem, called my ISP, nothing works.

      • Exactly the same problem, I'm on ps5. Hopefully this gets us some attention, literally cannot play.
