As a fellow guardian who has played destiny one since launch I feel unheard, uncared for, and honestly like a joke. I have reached adept 2 this season and in adept i have had not one, not two, but three games where my team mate(s) leaves the game.
it is impossible to win a two v three game (let alone a 1v3), it is frankly insane that I lose 100-150 points but only gain an average of 50 points. I don't care if that's how it is normally but why on earth is there no rank protection for having a teammate leave?
I've seen bungie issue bans for leaving trials and I believe comp has that as well so I am unsure why there is not just a ban for leaving a comp game alongside rank protection for the remaining members of the team.
This should prevent users from leaving to protect the rank of their friends, as it will ban them for 4-48 hours depending on repetition.
This can also just be a thing in Competitive for solo que players, preventing a fire team from abusing it; however not all fireteams are a full three in comp.
The game franchise is 10 years old. I alone have spent hundreds on this game, the least bungie can do is fix one of their MAIN ACTIVITIES. There are not a lot of options for us PVP players, and those that exist receive no love from bungie.
Please bungie, show me you still care.
I've been with you since Halo 2
