Need Information About Exotics For A Warlock
I am trying to figure out what two exotic things I will get for my warlock. I know that I want a exotic primary auto rifle and an exotic helmet. But I not sure what the best ones are and how to get them. Also, how do you get a exotic bounty? Any information on this subject will be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I am a Void walker and I like it so I probably won't want to go for Sun Singer

Awesome perks.. but don't get used to running an exotic Primary because there is much better exotic for Special or Heavys to use.. just saying. heart of praxic fire is for sunsinger but its probably the best armor piece for one.. Infinite grenades and Scorche melee's! But Obsidian mind is good for Void Walker and Voidfang Vestments is my fav for Voidwalker pvp Apothesis Veil is good for the new Hard Raid.

Obsidian mind and gjallarhorn. Forget about exotic primaries. Once you experience the power of specials and heavies you will hardly ever find yourself equipped with a primary.

Don't get too hung up on the exotic primary trap, exotic and lengendary primaries are much closer in power than you think, in fact I have a MIDA and Hawkmoon that I rarely use because I have legendaries that are actually a little bit better.

From a source I read a while back (I can't remember now) the odds of obtaining an Exotic bounty is not, though popular belief, increased through turning in multiple at once. The odds are the same either turning in bounties within a short time period or not. Also, if you don't know already, you have a slim chance of obtaining a package from the postmaster which will trigger the exotic bounties from Xander-44 (?) every time you turn in a bounty. Though I lack proof to prove this is the way exotic bounties are gained, it's makes much more sense from a logical viewpoint.

Obsidian Mind and Bad Juju if you are going to Void Walker it up. I know Bad Juju isn't an Auto Rifle, but after the huge buff coming pulse rifles will be much better. Watch some YouTube vids to witness the insanity of this combo. Light Beyond Nemisis is a really good helmet as well. Has a revive and get revived faster perk. I think it spits out extra orbs as well.

1 ReplyFor exotic bounties I usually turn in about 8 or 9 at once and most of the time I get an exotic bounty. Although I turned in four the other night and got one. The more you turn in the better the chance of getting one. Works for me but good luck bro

I use claws of amhakara for the double melee and monte carlo to reset the melee cool down continuously. Add that with voidwalker energy drain build and youll be Nova bombing much more often. Best part of this is it can be switched to sunsinger at will. Raid Loadout varies from this.

For Void Walker, Obsidian Mind and if you insist on an AR, then SUROS Regime. I've heard Bad Juju pairs really super well with Obsidian Mind though. Super fast super charge. You will also want Light Beyond Nemesis for Weekly/Nightfall and Apotheosis Veil for hard mode Crota. I would suggest Ice Breaker as your go-to exotic weapon though. And just get a Vanquisher VIII from New Monarchy for your AR.

Obsidian Mind for example is one of the better Voidwalker helms, but is useless for a Sunsinger. Exo Bounties will randomely drop, some people believe they have a better chance of doing so if you collect several bounites at once, though I have not seen a difference myself.

Helmet will depend on your subclass. Voidwalker no question the exotic you want is Obsidian Mind. Sunsinger, if you're sure you want a helmet, go for Light Beyond Nemesis - revives you & teammates faster. If you're positive about an auto-rifle, probably Suros. Hard light isn't bad really, but Suros hits harder.

Suros is the best AR....Obsidian Mind for Voidwalker, Heart of the Praxic Fire for Sunsinger (Or Starfire which is more likely..) As for getting them: Not sure. If you desperately try to get them you have little chance of getting them any time soon. The only thing you can do is increase your chances I guess. VoG and nightfall are your only realistic options atm...Xur will more likely than not, sell things other than Suros and HoPF

4 RepliesOk a great exotic helmet for warlocks is Obsidian mind, either or skull of dire ahamkhara, apotheosis veil and light beyond nemesis are good for Crota hard, in terms of exotic rifle, if you manage to get it, Suros regime, all the way, if you don't like the focused fire too much don't upgrade it, after that I'd suggest hard light, then Monte Carlo, and if you're that desperate, nechrochasm
