District honor band was going on at a real nice high school in this county and I was there Friday night, literally all day Saturday, and until about 5 Sunday where I got home and rushed to finish a research paper and history project. On the bright side, I met a man named Koji Mori, the former Drum Major for the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps, who won the national championship in 2008 with their "Spartacus" show where he, the assistant drum major, ran across the field and stabbed the head drum major and pulled out a baton to conduct the closer. Undoubtably the most memorable moment in DCI history, it was a real honor to meet him. How was your weekend?
