I'm not even looking forward to House of Wolves anymore. Tired of rehashed materials and reversed maps counting as new strikes.

I figure a second chance for the DLC is fair. Bungie is aware of our disappointment with TDB, so I'm hopinging HoW is an improvement.
Partly because I already paid for it. Smh.
Edited by Mabus51: 2/11/2015 1:03:26 AMI paid for it as well with the pass. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to play House of Wolves. But given how Bungie has treated this game so far. I don't have any reason to believe it will be any different than Dark Below. Bungie has only listened to the community twice. We got to carry more bounties and we don't have to farm for planet materials. Everything after that, has felt like it was an obligation for the development team. They even mock the community in their weekly updates. That to me was kind of the last draw. It's one thing if you can deliver. But the game came out mediocre with a promise of being better. The patches released so far have been terrible. There was more thought put into the Halloween event than the holiday gift. It seriously took them over a month to release Crota's End hard mode and all they did was raise the level number to 33. We stuck by Bungie even after they reset all our weapons and made us relevel them. I could go on and on about the game's faults. But I'm getting off the point. If they want the Destiny IP to survive. They seriously have to start delivering a lot of content. This pretty much sums up Destiny http://youtu.be/KW9fIKW6v4c

Yeah, for the well-being of the franchise, they needed to front-load content. I'll stay positive until Bungie burns away the last of my goodwill. For now, 500 hours for $75 is amazing value but I'd like to still enjoy things like nightfalls. I don't. Roc with randoms is more fun for me at this point. It's pretty fun though.

And the fact the new raid will be cheese within the first hour of release
-
That's what killed TDB for me. Okay, whatever, the Mythoclast ended up flooding PvP after the Atheon cheese, but having the Crota emblem and shader felt like an accomplishment until the LAN glitch. It just felt like a "so what" scenario for anything to be gotten from CE normal, and then hard. The raid cheese factor means nothing you get is hard to get, so nothing is special.
