I have been a loyal guardian since the midnight release of Destiny. I have ground practically countless hours since the release. It took me nearly a month to get to level 30 with my warlock, and a bit longer to get 30 with my hunter by beating Vault of Glass multiple times each week. And now, with the Crota's End raid, I have hit an even greater obstacle. On December 9th my clan and went through the newly released raid. I received a hunter chest piece for both of my hunters after completing the bridge section with both on the first day. However, I needed to take one for the team. So, I deleted both hunter chest pieces for exactly enough radiant shards to level my warlock up to hit 31, so I could be of more help to my clan against Crota on the first week. Here we are after over a month later; I have completed the raid each week with each since the DLC drop – and twice a week per character (normal then hard) since the hard mode release – and I have not seen another chest piece. This thing called smart loot clearly is not that smart. I am concerned that, for some reason, having deleted those pieces of hunter armor might have taken the chest piece out of the loot table for me? DeeJ, I know that you are exceedingly busy, but if you could please at least respond to my inquiry, and tell me that I’m not just screwed on getting a hunter chest piece, that would be greatly appreciated. I’m not asking to have a chest piece delivered to my mailbox or anything like that. Just a simple response with a reasonable explanation or reassurance would be perfectly fine in my book.
