Fans of the Vanquisher 8
First off, I just want too say I'm a big New Monarchy weapons and shaders fan. I have two of their shaders, and all the weapons except the rocket launcher, and the red hand unfortunately. Still waiting on the ship though, but I have plenty more ranks too burn through. Anyways, too the point. I was curious as to how many people prefer the V8 over other legendary Auto Rifles. I bought the one that the vendor sells, and honestly it wasent too hot.. But last weeks nightfall, I got another Vanquisher, this time with a stability perk, field scout, and third eye. It's pretty sweet! It now has a 42 round magazine, and the stability and radar perks really make a fine finish for this gun. What Perk rolls did you get for your Vanquisher?
Months later, I now have everything except the ship. One day, my friends. One day.

i've got rangefinder, persistence and field scout on mine - wish the ARs could have a little buff again so i can use it more.. was great fun

It's fun, but after the nerf it feels super underwhelming.

I got reload speed when empty and reduced grenade cool down for kills I love this gun!

2 RepliesOn my Hunter. Counterbalance Single point sling/fitted stock/armor piercing rounds Crowd control Wish it had field scout though. Burn through the magazine way too fast.

I got one, rolled decent stats. Havent fired it but maybe once. see, it dropped AFTER 1.1.1. I kept my shadow price and v8(and suros obviously) When it's un nerfed i'll level it up. i was never a fan of pve ARs though. But suros is fun so v8/shadow price should be good

I miss that gun. It was my go to during the Crota raids before i got the primaries in HM. Then it was nerfed into oblivion and i dismantled it. Rest in Pepperonis Vanquisher VIII </3

I have persistence, counter balance, and crowd control not too bad but definitely could be better

I was about to buy one a while back and ranked my nm right before and got it with reactive reload field scout and third eye. Used it once in crucible before ar nerf. Just beastly. Now its just a shadow of its former self. Although I still use it in pve.

In the vanquisher, pace matters more than anything else. U either play fast paced and take advantage of its stats or you're doing it an injustice Sights on this gun can ruin it, sureshot is the best that I've come across by a lot :x

I got one from a nightfall with Persistence, Field Scout, Lightweight, Hammer Forged, and Rangefinder. Overall, I think I might have one of the best possible rolls, because it has sheer all-around usefulness. It can be equivalent to a scout rifle, it can make me a little faster, it can have a 42 round magazine versus a 22 round magazine, AND it gets more accurate the longer I shoot. Overall, the only thing that would be better would possibly be a damage buff/reload speed buff perk. Too bad I'd have to sacrifice either Rangefinder or Persistence for that, though, so I'm happy with my random nightfall reward.

I absolutely love my Vanquisher. Just got it from my nightfall on Tuesday and the perks make it freakin beastly. Reactive Reload, Hammer Forged, Crowd Control.
