The Bible is my guide it holds the answer to my questions. It is what I base my life on. So yes I can. Especially since I answered and used the scripture as to support my answer

You giving an answer and [i]then[/i] using scripture to support it would be fine. Using scripture as your answer and supporting it with more scripture is like having a criminal's family on the parole board.
