I thoroughly enjoy posts like these. Thank you, OP... Here, listed below, is a few Exotic Weapons I have thought up. [b]ARTIST AT WORK[/b] Pulse Rifle (Exotic) Passive Perk (Exotic) -Mosaic Triptych: Fires one Solar, one Arc, and one Void round with each triple-burst shot. Other Perks -Rodeo -Explosive Rounds Description: [i]"Your enemies are your masterpiece. Their blood is the paint, their corpses the sculptures. Immortalize their demise and display them for all to see."[/i] Design: The Artist At Work is beautifully crafted. It's central design is bright, vibrant, and full of color. Integrated into its design is fragments of stained glass, giving the pulse rifle a glossy finish. Quintessentially, the Artist At Work has a low rate of fire, high impact, decent reload speed, and a 21 round clip (7 shot) [b]SKELETON KEY[/b] Sniper Rifle (Exotic) Exotic Perk -Keyhole: High Caliber rounds hyper-penetrate and can pass through walls as well as multiple targets. Precision hits will almost always stagger enemies. Other Perks -Void Damage (Passive) -Final Round -Who's Next Description: [i]"...every secret, every treasure, every regret, every truth... It's all behind doors and tumblers, waiting to be unlocked..."[/i] Design: Skeleton Key has a very macabre design. Forged from the bones of Ahamkara, this exotic sniper glows with with a faint purple hue. This weapon has an extremely high impact, low rate of fire, decent range, slow reload speed, and a 4 round clip. [b]UNMAKE THE HEAVENS[/b] Rocket Launcher (Exotic) Exotic Perk -Inferno Clusters: Rockets create incendiary bomb clusters upon detonation. Other Perks -Tracking -Clown Cartridge Description: [i]"...enough firepower to bring down the sun and stars."[/i] Design: Unmake The Heavens features a very sinister design. Seemingly molded from volcanic ash and obsidian, a magma glow emits from this weapon. Statistically, Unmake The Heavens has an extremely high velocity and blast radius. It's reload speed, however, is extremely low as its rate of fire. There can only be one rocket in the tube (unless Clown Cartridge triggers). [b]GRIMOIRE[/b] ARTIST AT WORK [spoiler]The Artist At Work is weapon of disputed legend. Found amidst the flotsam of a monumental battle, the Artist At Work tells a story of annihilation. Even unto the wisdom of the Gunsmith, the Artist At Work's exact technology is unfathomably obscured, its origins hotly contested. However, by collective hypothesis, the gun is believed to originate from the Future War Cult. But whatever is or isn't true, its widely assumed the creator of this weapon did not intend for it to ever be found... let alone lost to begin with.[/spoiler] SKELETON KEY [spoiler]"Whoever finds this, I've failed... I was sent on a routine patrol, I thought the threats already assessed. Why the Warlocks were so damn interested, I don't know... But now I'm surrounded with no way of escaping.     Sniper another in my storm series. 88-lightning "The rounds themselves are rumored to be as fast as lightning. You can decide wether they are or not" Stats: range=icebreaker, impact= black hammer, stability= a bit less than ice breaker. Mag capacity= 4 Reload speed= 10 Upgrades: Arc damage, and the strike (every hit equals 1 round) Rounds missed have a chance of being placed directly into the magazine Counter balance/hammer forged/flared magwell 88- every shot fired results in all the enemies that hit you to take the same damage. Edit. The reason this is here is I thought you were the op. Good work dude.

Attributes: 36 light 105 strength Initial upgrades: increased weapon stability while crouching, melee kill streaks grant stacking energy restoration for melee special (2kills 2x energy restoration) Exotic upgrades: name: kineticsynth damaging an enemy reveals other enemy units a certain distance from the target hit. U are able to see these enemies through any structures and or terrain, they are essentially marked for the kill. Lasts 10-20scs depending on how close they where to the target that got damaged. Life is highlighted for more battle field info. Eg two enemy guardians shields down easy melee double kill. Working with its other perks

  • The pulse rifles exotic perk is interesting and it fits the lore but I feel like it would be useless as your never doing max damage to a shielded enemy and then perk has no function in pvp. On the other hand, explosive rounds on a pulse rifle sounds godly. Maybe let the element be a choice and it would be like the murmur where the stats would change as well. I'm really sorry if I sound negative. The other concepts are great but the skeleton key is great but angry in pve would ruin it so I think something else needs to be added to it. The rocket launcher sounds like a buffed version of the dragons breath. These are great ideas so don't let what I say get you down. I just believe they need work.   • Your constructive criticisms go appreciated. I am not so soft-hearted one's offered opinion would offend me, least of all from a Guardian with a modicum of civility. Worry not Reaper702. You have my thanks... As for the crux of your criticism, it was of interest to me to avoid tilting my exotic weapons toward an overpowered axis. Artist At Work is meant to universally deliver a steady enough stream of elemental damage to undo any elemental barrier; the explosive rounds are a catalyst meant to extend the damage, and the high impact is designed to make the weapon significantly stronger than a standard pulse rifle. In this, Artist At Work is best suited for PvE (Nightfalls especially), but its loss of value in PvP is a legitimate concern... The Skeleton Key, however, borderlines at the cusp of OP. In the bloodbaths of PvP, it would undoubtably be a serious game changer, as its perk allows players to shoot through walls. And while I agree "Angry" is a realistic dilemma, it only exists in Nightfalls and sometimes heroics, but your point does not go without notice... And as for Unmake The Heavens, it was intentionally designed as the love-child of Hunger of Crota and Dragon's Breath. An initial concept was to have Unmake The Heavens exist as a Machine Gun, one which would feature explosive rounds and firefly. But that idea was scrapped due to its resemblance to Fatebringer, and thus UTH was implemented with the Hunter's incendiary grenades instead, an estimated 3-5 grenades being displaced upon detonation. In truth, UTH was supposed to be Gjallarhorn's rival in terms of sheer DPS...
