Think of it this way. Each week I do the nightfall and weekly heroic three times each. My nightfall rewards are immediate. My weekly heroic rewards, I have to wait to Friday and see if there's anything worth buying. The longer Xur sells nothing I want or can use, the more strange coins I get, the less reason I have to do that weekly heroic. Now this week, while be has nothing I want, and I'm a bit irked that he's selling icebreaker so soon again (though I'm glad some friends who missed it last time can get it this time), it's actually not a bad week. Especially given how useful the hunter and warlock exotics are in Crota HM (creating more orbs, and heals from orbs is great). I'm of course still a bit frustrated at the lack of heavy ammo or an engram that isn't gloves, but it's not that bad a week.
