Golden gun is perfect for the situation. Nova bombs and radiance work well also. Defender bubbles are useful but I really can't see myself using Bladedancer or striker on Atheon

No. Nooooo. No No Never use golden gun. I kick people as soon as they do. No crit on atheon. You do almost no damage compared to any gun that actually hits criticals.

I was using icebreaker on him but my whole fireteam was yelling at me to use golden gun. I wasn't checking the damage output, does it really do less than a critical hit?
