To clarify, there is only ONE MOON. Moon is a proper noun referring to Earth's satellite. Many planets, such as Jupiter, have satellites, but they are not technically moons
Edit: I'm just defending his point of view. Calling things moons is perfectly acceptable
English
-
That's why the scientific community refers to them as Jupiter's moons or Saturn's moons and so on right?...
-
I was just defending his point of view. Calling satellites moons is fine. Sorry
-
Yet you're still wrong
-
I am not
-
Then why would top scientific minds refer to them as moons? Because they are moons
-
To help the people who think that the only satellites are those that are man made.
-
Ultimately, it's simpler to say moon than satellite
-
You're an idiot
-
Maybe so, but not as much of one as the person who doesn't know what satellite means.
-
I don't even think a stated anything about what they meant so you're assuming things and making yourself look like an even bigger idiot.
-
I don't know what I've done to upset you but all my logic has been sound and if you don't see the truth in my words then you sir, are a -blam!-
-
The fact of the matter is that other planets satellites are still called moons, it just doesn't refer to the Moon. You are wrong
-
It's a technicality and nothing more. I apologize about upsetting you. Can we stop arguing semantics please?
-
Yea I'm down lol
-
-
Scientific minds like who? Disney book authors? Mars isn't a called a moon you idiot. So neither are Titan and Europa

-
Too dumb to get the reference to disney?
-
No I just don't care about Disney?
-
Does anyone, after what happened to Star Wars, really care about Disney?
-
Haha I'm not fan of star wars so I don't get the reference, but Disney has definitely gone down the drain.
