This post is for the enrichment of new Guardians who have just joined our ranks and are in need of sage advice from seasoned players..
After completing the bounties and just before redeeming them with the Bounty Issuer, make sure that the Ability subclass, armor parts (helmet/gauntlets/chest/leg), and/or weapons that you want to upgrade (primary/special/heavy) is enabled. After redeeming the bounties, and exiting the bounty screen, you will notice a decent increase in the gear unlock process (especially if you finish all of the days bounties and cash them in at one time). I would recommend on working one of each selection until you can't upgrade further, then move on to the next item. This way, even if you do not use a particular weapon or armor piece on a regular basis or it is brand new (weak), you can still get it upgraded to the point you want to use it.

If you've got any telemetries, they triple xp. Save up 10 bounties and kick on a telemetry for massive xp on new legendary/exotic weapon
-
Next protip: jumping makes you go higher in the air!
-
Never understood the telemetries, so do they need to still be active when turning in the bounties, or just while doing the bounties
-
32 titan looking for nightfall then heroic Gt: inoskedyou

A other suggestion is to save up 10 bounties and buy telemetry for different weapons from Xur and cash in all at once for a fast upgrading of exotics. This will also increase your chance of getting exotic weapon bounties.
-
I had to explain this to some freshly minted 31's that joined my VOG hard party with unleveled gear and weapons. "It takes so long to level stuff doing patrols and strikes." I didn't smh or kick... I taught.

Leveling exotics is such a pain in the dick.

being brand new.. I thought this was common sense... :)

Also learn where you can grind multiple bounties at one time. learn which areas will let you do this. I find it best to do all my bounties not patrol, target or mission based on earth. Steppes, mothyard, Divide, rocket yard. Also learn the lines for all chest drops in the areas you are working on bounties on. If you do it right you can crush all your bounties quickly while making some nice loot. Also remember that greens while annoying to pick up do break down into glimmer and parts. Secondly. Run seeds, idols, or whatever for the area you are grinding on. Best and fastest bounty combo. 200 mites on cosmo, 10 hive from bounty, 10 hive from eris. Time to complete 3-4 minutes. yes Running the crota mission for fist is quick, but your mostly doing just one bounty. On earth you can do 3-5 at one time. Also if youre doing a patrol find friends who have it as well and spread out across three areas. We can do mars in under 10 minutes and thats if there is scan missions.

Welcome to September 10, 2014.

Telemetry... If you're gonna go all the way..
-
I would hope everyone does this?
-
...........old.........

You must be new. This is like beta old.

Well.... That definitely does work. However, I would also recommend that PVE players suck it up and do PVP bounties. Yeah, I can understand if you hate PVP but who cares what your K/D ratio is. Mine sucks. Shoot. Have fun and go out in a blaze of glory in Crucible. If you do PVP bounties you will find that you will level gear much faster than if you just did PVE bounties alone. Still prefer PVE but PVP is growing on me a bit. Meh, but those premade fireteams in full Raid Gear can be a pain sometimes. Remember. You are immortal so enjoy it. =D

I hope everyone already knew this

Didn't see anything about telemetry...
-
Or you could break down fully leveled items (even if you didn't buy the upgrades) and get more materials.
