Can you join groups outside your gaming system?
I see people posting their consoles and gamer tags- can xbox1 folks join teams that have PS4 or xbox360 people?

Yes and no. Here on the Bungie site, you can join multiple groups of clans. For example, I follow the Dads of Destiny group , the IGN group, and the Rooster Teeth group. I'm a clan member of the Dads of Destiny RNG PS4 clan. This is where I think you are getting confused. You can only be a member of one clan with your Bungie.net profile. Hope that clears things up.

Edited by gforce: 2/16/2015 2:59:33 AMUnfortunately no. Ps4 can't join ps3 even. Can only join same console. Edit: sorry I thought you meant in the game and to play cross console. Some groups have clans for both psn and xbox within the group you can be a member of.

Bungie.net private groups are not tied to specific consoles. You can join any group on Bungie.net regardless of what systems you own.
