When it comes to owning/purchasing a game, which platform do you prefer and why?
It seems to me that a lot of gamers are collectors and appreciate the physical aspects of a game, the case, etc. A lot of people also like the convenience of not having to switch games when they want to play something different.
[spoiler]I'm a bit biased as I sell digital Nintendo games on eBay so I have to advocate their use a lot of the time. But this is unrelated so I can be honest![/spoiler]
For me, I personally feel some games lend themselves to digital forms well (Animal Crossing) while others demand longer investments of time (Halo, for instance). Just my two-cents though.

Edited by Progo: 2/16/2015 2:48:40 PMFor console games, I definitely like physical copies, you never know when in the future the provider might turn off cloud storage/authentication. And there's overall a different, more arcade-like feel to consoles, I think physical copies help enhance that. For PC, I largely trust that Steam isn't going anywhere, and even if they died I would still be able to play in offline mode.
