*lays on rock in middle of lake my tail just barely touches the water*
*i stare off in to the distance just watching the tree line. *
*i scan the horizon as i do something catches my eye*

what is that? *stares at a bunch of bushes that are moving* * i slide into the water without disturbing the surface of the water * *i head toward where i seen the movement*

* i see that and grab my knives and slowly creep towards the bushes also *

*as i approach i hear heavy footfalls and splashing* *i hold completely still as i see giant hooved feet in front me* *i look up to see the face of a kelpie*

* i grab my daggers and i slowly stalk toward he kelpie ready to jump and stab it *

*i stares into the kelpie's green eyes and feel it enter my mind i hear a deep other worldly voice* "do not fear me child of water i bear you no harm you and i seek to join your side, please come out of hiding so greet you properly and i can sense your friend"

* i jump into the air and leap on the kelpies back *

*i watch as the kelpie rears spooked* *i swim out the way of its hooves* "get off me human only she may ride on my back" *i show myself and i grab for the kelpie's bridle instanlty calms it*

*as i get closer i hear heavy footfalls and splashing in the water* * i remain still when i a giant hoofed leg land in the water just inches from my face* * i hold my breath and look up to see a face kelpie staring back at me.*
