Bungie...you ruined a good thing

The Dark Below DLC has completely ruined the nightfall. Bungie deciding to add the Will of Crota strike to the nightfall rotation, is up there on my list of big mistakes Bungie has made with this game. Bungie's greed has caused them to run an abnormal rotation throwing in the Will of Crota just about every third week. Causing non-DLC owners to be locked out constantly. With them hoping that doing this, will make them want to hand over more money to complete the high level content they deserve. Now, most of you know prior to the DLC dropping bungie followed a pretty strict nightfall rotation. (Earth then moon then Venus then mars) I seriously was starting to believe they were going back to this rotation in recent weeks. Especially with winters run finally being added back to the nightfall. So if they were following rotation, this week would be mars (rockets mcdickface). Although this is my least favorite strike, I was seriously hoping/looking forward to it being this nightfall and heroic. Even though I may hate vaalus, I hate doing the same strike over and over even more. Most of us players on these forums are not casual players. The majority of us have three characters that we run the nightfall and heroic on weekly. Adding up to 6 strikes a week, not counting helping friends. This means that after doing our weekly strike runs, we are sick of that strike. Having a rotation that makes each strike show up once every six weeks, as it should, is a great way of keeping the player base interested in running the nightfalls weekly. Bungie, you need to bring back the rotation you ran before. Adding omnigul after devils lair. Nobody wants to run the Will of Crota 6 times every third week. It is a tedious strike that has one simple strategy for every room. Note: Making this weeks nightfall a no burn nightfall, was just adding insult to injury. Having no burns does not make this strike harder, it only makes it more tedious. Arc burn easily makes this nightfall a hell of a lot more difficult. If bungie truly wanted to make this nightfall as difficult as possible, they would run both void, and arc burn, as well as lightswitch.

  • It's very safe to assume that this was Activision's doing, not Bungie's. Forcing Omnigul to constantly show up as the Nightfall strike is little more than a business tactic to ruthlessly pressure the non-DLC players to cave in and pony up the cash for season passes.
