If you don't believe in God or creationism then you won't agree with what I have to say. Saying that, Gods creation is perfect. He made a man to be with a woman. Anything other is mockery towards Him. In the Bible He says that homosexuality is an abomination. Saying that you are gay is saying that God didn't make you right, where in reality, God made you perfect. God also created procreation and with homosexuality you cannot procreate. And God does not hate gay people. I believe His heart breaks over them as does mine. But homosexuality goes against everything God is. And like I said, if you don't believe in God you won't agree with what I have to say.

But he doesn't. He calls homosexuality an abomination. He didn't create anyone gay. Its always a choice.

Well for one God never says He hates gays. He hates the sin of homosexuality just like he hates murder or adultery etc. But the verse I was referring to was Leviticus 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination." And there are many more verses in the Bible pertaining to homosexuality. But many people think God just hates gays, but He doesn't. He loves them just as much as He loves me or you.

And yet, "God" also created homosexuality. What does that translate to?

If it created everything, then it did. Thus why it exists in nature.

He didn't create anything bad. Do you even believe in God? You obviously believe in His existence since you are arguing about this.

I believe in some higher power, yes. However, there is nothing "bad" about homosexuality, no more so than there's anything "bad" about being a different race. Perhaps the creator created homosexuality as a form of mild population growth control.

Because that's a human interpretation of something "God" may or may not have even said. Humans can never truly fathom the will of something that could create a universe. Not to mention the number of times and places that said book you're citing has been retranslated. Also, notice that the supposed direct iteration of "God" never says anything about it.

Not everything in the bible applies to today and not everything is ment to be taken literally I know you wouldn't agree by your user name but I've gone to church my whole life and the main lesson I learned is to be a good human being in the general sense and to treat others how you would want to be treated that's the golden rule and I'm not gonna speak for God and neither should you but ask yourself do you think he cares or endorses you posting about somthing he is sopose to be the judge not you if this young man came into your church and said he felt wrong for being homosexual and wanted help to change that's a different story but the internet is not the place for stuff like this.

I don't feel like this is the appropriate venue for this topic the internet is very informal and things are easily misconstrued. You should be aware that nothing positive can come from this so what is the point if you aren't trying to be constructive isn't it just kind of a jab at someone. I'm sure the young man already knows what a person like yourself would think you would of been better off just scrolling past.
