Well, here's how I would respond to that, though I can't speak for others. I [i]do[/i] tolerate you, though I disagree with your opinion.
Another important clarification: your stance is an opinion, and homosexuality is not.
As a result, your opinion on this matter essentially seems to be to ostracize others based on what they cannot control, based on belief, and belief alone. I disagree with you, then, because in my opinion, people should be able to live their lives how they want, but your opinion would directly contradict this. Frankly, I don't care what you actually think or believe, it's your life. But once that results in someone else's entire lifestyle having to change, when it really can't, then there's a problem.
tl;dr, I do in fact tolerate you, but I don't tolerate it when the idea results in someone else being marginalized for who they are

I guess I feel kind of the same way. The only reason I posted about it was because he asked for opinions. I really don't bring up the topic of homosexuality unless I'm asked because its pretty touchy. But each person has a choice in what they believe and how they live. And that's cool. I just hate when I get hated on for my views by people that are telling me I should be less hateful haha.
