To be fair, a lot of "straight-edge" people that i've met were pretty snotty about it. Then again, that number is relatively small to begin with. Either way I wouldn't want to make friends with people with ego issues either, they can be difficult to deal with in high doses. Stoners, on the other hand, tend to be very laid back and easy to get along with. Again, this is based on my experience, I know that this doesn't apply to all of them.
