You can never solo the weekly heroic again
How does it feel? I'm honestly very upset. Once it drops I won't be able to duo it with one friend now (or solo), we have to:
1) drag a horrible player through
2) deal with an afk player
3) ugh
What do you guys think? I want an optional no matchmaking button. Is it that hard?

Sure you will. If you listen to these forums everyone goes afk for everything so you'll still be solo.

I think ur right afkers easy strange coins. There shoukd be an option to not have to go through matchmaking. Overall the idea isnt terrible just needs tweaking

Couldn't you start it with 2 friends, have them leave after setting your settings to private? Would that work?

Or you could end up with someone like me, I'm a good pve player, I don't always have someone on line to do it with and end up soloing it pretty often.

I think you will find you will end up soloing quite a few of them as the majority of players you will be paired with will be AFC scum who won't lift a finger to assist. So just approach each match made weekly as a solo task and you won't be disappointed.

Eh, I'm not too fussed. Coins are about useless, and you get them half the time from Nightfall anyhow, so I'm just never gonna do the weekly again unless I have a pair of friends who want the help.

I usually post in LFG asking for a team to do nf/heroic both at once so this won't bother me.

2 RepliesI'm glad they are adding matchmaking but they need to make it optional, I personally really like to solo it from time to time. You can't please everyone though.

If you queue with a 3 then you won't meet these issues. If you want to solo the NF is still available. If the player is AFK it's no different from queuing as a duo. Even if the player is horrible, they are better than nothing in almost all cases.

I agree... I don't understand what is so hard about an optional matchmaking button for weeklys. Should just do optional matchmaking for everything so people that want to match up with randoms can and the people that want to solo can still handle their biz.

It's bs. Some people including myself often really enjoy the challenge of soloing. It's a little different for someone to AFK in a nightfall than a strike, imagine if you carry someone through that doesn't move from spawn only to see them get Gjallarhorn thanks to you're work. Fuk that.
