I do appreciate the significantly less condensing responses since your first two replies. (Sincerely). And this is an attempt not to be condensing as well but a genuine and educational argument to that.
Taken straight from Merriam-Webster for the definition of entrapment: "the action of luring an individual into committing a crime in order to prosecute the person for it."

I'm not saying he didn't do this. I'm saying this kid needs to see there is a lesson to be learned here. This guy can benefit him even though he is an asshole.
