was he forced?
-
So if my house gets robbed and I lost everything inside... Should I be blamed because I have windows and doors?? The kid is like 12.... Did he learn a lesson, yes. Was he FORCED to learn that lesson the hard way? YES it is the grown man whose fault it is Not some naive innocent kid. Honestly, morality is DEAD. You, and people like you (victim blamers) are the cause of that.
-
you should have security. if you don't have a security system and left everything unlocked you're an idiot. also comparing a video game character to a house, you're also an idiot.
-
Wow way to completely miss my point and remain an ignorant asshole. Use ANY example you want. A victim is a victim. Especially when it concerns kids. K, a coach sexually abuses a player, the kid consented, but didn't know what was going to happen. The coach abuses him/her and the kid tells his parents what happened... The kid and the family get -blam!-ed up mentally forever.... It was the KID'S fault for consenting??!?! Lol gtfo of life with that bullshit mindset man. YOU are an idiot.
and a victim blamer
-
lol again sexual abuse TO A VIDEO GAME grow up
-
The kid consented to something that he didn't know would happen..... Sounds pretty similar to me.... -blam!- buddy, how about YOU grow up, get some morality, and LEARN HOW FÜCKING METAPHORS AND ANALOGIES WORK
yikes champ, talking to you is like trying to talk to a 5 year old
-
That's a disgusting hyperbole if you compare sexual assault to a video game. in a month the kid will get over it. if someone is sexually abused it could scare them for life. That is not a simile or a metaphor. it's you taking a serious situation and comparing it to something meaningless that'll go away in a month. Where was your concern for the girl that had the SAME thing happen back in December?
-
Edited by freshlydunbread: 2/20/2015 9:08:33 PM
That's a disgusting hyperbole if you compare sexual assault to a video game.
Lol just stop before the hole you dug gets any deeper, kid.
-
I didn't know about the girl and I think it's easily just as disgusting.... Just like you. OK WOW since you have such trouble understanding analogies, I'll dumb it down a little.... So, a kid lends his games to his friend to play some for a while, the kid's friend was really convincing that he just wanted to play them for a week or so.... But instead, he scratches and breaks all the disks to "teach him a lesson". Please tell me how the kid is at fault for lending them away?
also please tell me who hurt you and created such a heartless, cold, immoral demonchild...... You are sick, man, just sick.
-
that doesn't work, kids a friend lol no friend would do that. and if he did the parents would easily be involved and the discs be replaced. Next :]
-
"Next" is you remembering this conversation in a few days, years, whatever, and realizing how utterly wrong and misguided you were. Please, just, stop and think about what you've said. It pretty much comes down to this: you don't understand COMPARISON.
also, it seems you're just a lifer victim blamer sooo I'm done trying to convince you to be moral. One day, maybe somebody will take advantage of you and you'll feel crushed, and you'll think back and be like "ahhh FromNowOn was RIGHT! Blaming a victim is WRONG!"... We can only hope....
-
Your comparisons are asinine
-
Your morality is asinine.
-
Not really. This isn't anything to do with morals. It's funny coming from the guy who compared video games to sexual assault. You can put more time into the game and be back where you were in a month. If you're robbed or sexually assaulted it could take years to even feel safe in your own home. But God forbid a kid with shitty parents who don't take up the 5 minutes to set up parental controls gets his shit deleted. Your morals are -blam!-ed if you think this is anywhere near the level of burglary or sexual assault. This could have been avoided if he was supervised and his shit parents didn't let the video game console babysit him. FFS he couldn't even pronounce Achilles correctly.
-
Continue to prove my point, please! It is very entertaining...
-
Your point has been moot since the first reply lmao.
-
Your life has been moot since the first word. Just, stop. I'm done trying to convince you. Disagree with me, see if I care. You will be immoral. That is your desire.
If you reply, I will not reply again.
-
You won't reply because you literally have no argument to stand on aside from its "immoral" news flash dickhead, everything you've said has been nothing but opinion.
-
Jared AGAIN?? Damn man, you gotta get on that analogy game.
-
lol xD
-
analogies and hyperboles are two different things. which most of you "moral" white knights seem to not know. Sexual assault and a video game are not comparable in the slightest. Nor is home invasion.
-
Edited by freshlydunbread: 2/20/2015 10:17:13 AMThe acts of -blam!- and playing video games are by no means comparable. The environments and settings in which these scenarios take place are indeed comparable, warranting an analogy. Here we have an analogy, defined as: "a comparison between two things, typically on the basis of their structure and for the purpose of explanation or clarification". Hyperboles are not analogies; that is correct. But this is an analogy.
-
Not even remotely. his situation could be avoided by his parents simply not buying him a $400 baby sitter for Christmas. Use parental controls and none of this would have happened. ignorance is not an excuse.
-
Edited by freshlydunbread: 2/20/2015 10:18:57 AMYou can try and deflect my well structured points with all the irrelevancies you'd like, kid. It's still an analogy, by definition of an analogy.
-
Btw the two situations you are comparing aren't comparable "on basis of their structure" so by definition it's not an analogy. lol the kid will NOT be getting anything from bungie and I for one am glad. I'll enjoy my 3 characters and not let people I don't know use my account :)
