Better yet, put them back, AND give us a way to upgrade the ones we kept. DeeJ said in a post that they aren't useless and they are worth keeping.
Yet they are bad when used in comparison to the new 2.0 weapons.
And I've been holding a cryptic dragon with firefly, a full auto Crash with field scout mag and void damage, and others.
Give us a way to upgrade them.

There are [i]many[/i] 1.0 version weapons that are useful. I myself would never claim to be the luckiest in finding any. But the Crash Shotgun I found in the first month of the game is [b]still[/b] the best 1.0 I ever found. With a max mag of 7, with full auto ability that adds to grenade timer, it is by far the best PVP 1.0 shotgun I have. It doesn't fire as fast as the invective, but close enough that it stays on target and follows up it's first shot quickly enough to down targets effectively. WHY Bungie HAS NOT added ANY WAY to upgrade 1.0 version weapons to at least a max damage of 320 or even 318 is absolutely the poorest of decisions. Who it is that is making these decisions at Bungie must be young inexperienced developers. A decision like that would be something that put them back in the good graces of a lot of the community. Then again, silence appears to be their only attribute when it comes to acknowledging community. Smh
