Hm. I've always seen anime as being (usually) a bunch of different interesting premises (like the world, background, magic/science/whatever), but with the same unnecessarily drawn-out, usually confusing execution.

Then your mind isn't developed enough to comprehend such amazing pieces of art that come out of Japan. Nothing's too confusing if you have a comprehensible and reasonable mind. The plots aren't that intricate.
