Crota Vs Atheon
In a fight to the death, who would win? First round is raw power. I.e, no "past, present, future" bologna and no oversoul either.
Second round involves minions. Discuss?

Crota, easily. He goes ham with that -blam!-ing sword. But honestly, with how shit the AI is, they'd both get hung up on rocks and shoot at the walls in front of them.

2 RepliesWithout Timestream or Oversoul I'd have to give it to Crota, you can still hurt Atheon without Times Vengeance but it's weaker... yet crota requires the sword to damage him. Although if the abilities were in play, I'd give it go Atheon because Crota is kind of a bitch who relies on his minions too much. Hive vs Vex: Vex win, they have Grenades and all have guns, only acolytes and boomers have guns, and the wizard shooter thing doesn't really affect the praetorians shield....

If there's no "lost in time" or oversoul stuff, Crota can't lose. Atheon can take damage even without times vengeance active, and Crota can only be hurt by the swordbearers sword.

1 ReplyCan we trade out gk for templar and js antheon has oracles too right, plus if u drop crotas shield he takes knee where as antheon only holds still when u teleport him and.tho he may not weild a sword he could at least run ballistics and blow up an area around sword sending in into crota? Idk maybe that last part is.too outlandish

5 RepliesIr Yut would dominate the Gatekeeper. The Gatekeeper is very slow, despite its teleportation, while Ir Yut is quite agile. Also, Ir Yut, as she always does, can run off to a secure location and begin the Liturgy of Ruin. Unless the Gatekeeper, being extremely slow, can find her AND kill her within 30 seconds all by himself, he's screwed.

Does crota take damage without the sword? If do, the atheon wins. His blaster is more damaging compared to crota on equal levels

1 ReplyCrota can only be permanently damaged by the Sword of Crota, which no Vex can wield, let alone use effectively. Also, to those of you saying that "Atheon can just send him into the portal and be lost in the dark corners of time", you didn't read the post. It literally reads, "no 'past, present, future' bologna". Overall, Atheon is beyond screwed.

7 RepliesAtheon would win, when he opens the timesream crota will get lost in time and die, also the vex would kick the crap out of the hive any day, they're stronger, they all operate on one mind and have metal skin, plus the hive can't use the relic to kill the Templars shields and probably wouldn't know what to do if oracles appeared or if they saw a gorgon. So...yeah.

Well for the it your gatekeeper the past present future thing would take place and since ir yut wouldn't be able to use the liturgy on the future or past gatekeeper those descendant hobgoblins would eventually get her. Atheon wins if Crota can't get close enough and if he uses temporal stomp fast enough(Crota probably with the whole shield thing). Minions would definitely be the supplicants since they keep coming
