I know what you mean, but it's really not as easy as you think. Plus PCs are at a lot more risk of something happening, like it getting a virus or with my luck, it just doesn't work.

Edited by Rimfed: 2/22/2015 8:19:56 PMYou're right about it not being that easy, my dad helped me a lot making mine, but you could literally look up a build and buy all the individual parts on newegg. And as far as it being riskier, as long as you don't overheat the motherboard itself you can pretty much just replace any part that has problems (worst case scenario, say if you get a virus, you wipe the hard drive or get a new one and reinstall the OS) where as fewer people can fix things that go wrong with consoles so often your only option is sending it in to the manufacturer.

I still find consoles way more convenient, because I just don't understand all the PC specs and stuff. I'm just not with that stuff. I do agree though that having a platform that plays every game would be amazing.
