I don't believe a word of this... Thousands of players have been over that vault with fine tooth comb and found nothing... Every combination of tactics including 2 manning the raid and not dying the whole way though has been tried.
They will say anything to keep interest in their tired, old, broken ass raid... Don't believe the trolls.

Maybe so. But it is still worth a try. I am hearing things that I have never heard before. Bungie keeps their secrets secret. If you played Halo then you might remember some of the old easter eggs such as the IWHBYD skull and whatnot.

There were YouTube videos showing the 6 new DLC dead ghost locations within an [b][u]HOUR[/u][/b] of the dlc release, and both crotas end chests were found and all over YouTube within a few hours as well... Get my point now? There is nothing left in the VOG... Trust me on that.

I'm quite confident in saying that there are things that are still hidden. Who's to say that there are still things in the Vault but just not accessible right now. Think about the strike that proceed the black garden, we knew the area was there, we just couldn't access it. Bungie didn't confirm that said 6th chest was in an accessible area.

Not when they confirm something is there... And maybe they put their work in the Vault and the Vault only. You can't know unless you are Bungie.

Seriously? They lie and troll as much as we do... Bungie confirmed a lot of things pre-release like player trading, an open world, better story... Do you think those things are hidden in the game too? Maybe we just have yet to find them? Besides, what are the odds that this 6th chest is even an exotic one? *If* it exists, I'll bet it only gives shards and energy like the secret templar one does... Waste of time, and why am I even still talking about this? *leaves*

You ever heard of Batman Arkham Asylum? There was an Easter egg that went about a year without discovery. The game's designer had to tell people about it. And we all know that Bungee is the king of hiding things. And plus, exploring the Vault of Glass for chests is fun.

Honestly? I play till I have a week where I have no advancement. When I go an entire week without a single worthwhile drop I leave until their next dlc... Did the same thing back in October, and I'll do it again in June. I'm not going to play a game that suddenly refuses to reward me, and I'm still missing 3 drops from vog. So it holds a special place of contempt with me.

Fair enough. I've run CE 10 or so times and have reaped 8 Gauntlet, 0 Chest, 0 Boots, 0 Helmet. But have received 7 Exotics in the last 9 days of playing so there is a trade off for the grind I guess. Still I understand your frustration. Back on topic though, even if I never feel max cap, exploration and reaching places I couldn't before gives me more of a high than reaching 32. That sense of achievement with exploration (like the time I reached that portal in VOG jumping puzzle, that was awesome). I guess it's subjective. Destiny is like the current gen casino. Some people are just addicted.
