In the raid grimoire it says you cannot open the vault alone but I did. But I was not alone. Maybe you have to go in by your self but get people doing patrol to help with the sync plates.

Yeah and its before it mentions the Templar. So you would think it would have to be the start. But who knows. Millions of theories and maybe bungie just trolling so we keep playing.
