Just out of interest how old are you Teen, adult what.
Because I'm 42 and have kids of my own. What kirmit did was cruel plain and simple.
All kids at that age want "the best" and if some stranger turns up and acts all pally OF COURSE they are going to do it.
Kids are trusting until we make them mistrust. They are children, it's the job of adults to look after them. To not inflict mental anguish (because that's what they did)
I know it's a game but FFS he's 11, he doesn't care about ISIS, famine, fossil fuel. He just wants to go to school tomorrow and tell his friends he's got 3 lvl 32 characters.

When it does happen we must keep teaching them. We should not spoil them after they mess up by trusting strangers. We shouldn't reward them with items (in this case to restore his characters). He needs to feel the hardship to truly learn and become someone great one day.Today it's game, what about when it is something serious?We should never disable our kids by swooping in and making everything better all the time, even if it is the initial instinct of being a parent. So by your logic, if it is a guy with a van and puppies. Afterwards your response would be "well you won't do that again will you" ! ! C'mon he didn't get rewarded, they gave him a present because he was victimised by an adult. I'm not saying that child abuse is parrallel to character deletion but the kid was upset. It was cruel sick move by Kirmit (and I truly believe he did do this) I'm not condoning death threats to the guy or his mum (this is after all first and foremost a game) let's get some perspective. But firstly pulling that shot is wrong, pulling it on a kid is cruel and wrong. But then going off on one because someone tried to cheer that kid up and venomous comments at the kid........are you for real ?
