Meh you say? Well maybe it's just me but Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is the best game ever! Okay not really but my god it's the best and most fist game I've played in ages. I'm already 90 hours in and I just can't get enough. Only reason I'm not playing it now is cuz my 3ds needs to charge. Reasons you ask? Every battle is super rewarding and challenging. It does everything I love about dark souls and RPGs in one. Customization and pro level weapon skills that require you to master them to become op and not mash X to hit. It's. It's just everything I love about games. Challenging. Fun. Multiplayer when I want it. Single player when I don't. Cute cat companions. Etc. I guess only other game I play right now is smash bros. Been training my rosalina amiibo an dedede amiibo. Soon I'll start on my shulk. Haven't touched destiny since mh4u came out.

Same here, fellow hunter.

It's probably because I've never really liked Monster Hunter. I'm only a few hours into this one. I like the Souls series myself. I couldn't tell you why I haven't been enjoying Monster Hunter.

Well I'll admit for newcomers, and me as well when I first played monster hunter. It was kinda hard to get into it. The beginning quests are just eh. Though they are there to get you into the groove of things. Took me like 5 hours into it before I was hooked. I think the monster I fought that hooked me was Rathian. Another thing that made it meh at first was playing it alone/ not knowing a thing. For the first all I can say is try the online. For the second. Well unless you have a guide look up projared's beginners guide. He does a good job explaining the basics. It's 4 videos. And if you want to know how to effectively use a weapon look up gaijin hunter's videos. He does very in depth videos on all the weapons move sets and what they are capable of. While also recommending the best way to use them. (Certain combo you should prioritize when you can) on the note of souls games. I'm looking forward to bloodborne. That's like a weeks away now.
