I've tried Crucible over and over. My friends tell me it's fun, and that you have to get use to it, but they're playing as Warlocks and Hunters. I'm constantly being wrecked by players, that are mostly Hunters and Warlocks. Even thinking about it, I don't really see that many Titans in the Crucible. The Titan abilities seem to only really work in defense, even the Striker Subclass. Is any other Titan just getting destroyed out there? I'm good at games like Halo and Battlefield, and I'll admit, I'm not great at Crucible, but this is out of control! Does anyone feel the same? Are Titans a weaker PvP class?

I've been a titan since I got the game. I've played warlock and hunter on friends accounts, and IMO the Titan is more difficult to play. You're lead to believe the Titan is this super powerful, will own everyone in CQC, but it's not the case. You're pretty much on an even playing field in CQC. I was like you when I started...I sucked with the Titan. I had to start playing a lot more conservatively. In normal PvP, the biggest advantage is weapons, not the class. Get precision weapons, scout rifle, preferably. And use distance to your advantage. Learn to use the lightning grenade and some good placements for it. You can literally lock down flags in control with your lightning grenade while your team arrives for back up. The other big thing is to not waste your fist of HAVOC on a single person. Use it strategically, who cares if you die once, when you could save your super and potentially kill 3-4 people later. Every time I have ever panicked, I've needed my super a few minutes later. Defender isn't completely useless in PvP, you just have to be the support like the class is meant to be. Use suppression grenades and stuff like that.
