I know everyone likes to think the blade dancer is op because it can get 3 kills on a avg. And if you look at people's profiles with 3 charters you'll notice that the hunter supers will take about 20- 30 % of total kills. This number is much higher than someone who uses nova bombs or fist of havoc. But these 2 supers can do something a blade dancer shouldn't/can't do. STEAL THE HEAVY. it's to easy to mow down blade dancers with heavy.
95% of the time I get my nova bomb before heavy drops in the beginning. I know what time it spawns so I usually run in blink I n the air and nova bomb as their picking it up. Note that this doesn't always work because you need to stay far back enough so they can't see you on the radar and pick it up right away. The timing is a son of a bitch. No I'm not bad check my dtr. But when I pull it off like 10% of the time and get 2 or more people I can get 4- (on some based god shit) 18 rockets. But normally I get at least 1 brick of heavy. I'll take 2-3 rockets + the kill(s) with the nova any day over blade dancer.
But now since I can't get heavy from kills it's not even worth it to bomb them at their heavy for me. I use truth so basically I pick up 4 kills when I pick up heavy lol truth op. Most of the time there's not 4 people by heavy. You don't have to be an economist to decide what's a better option. Before I used to be able to use 3 nova bombs at the least in a game where it wasn't wasted one 1 dude. Now you've taken away the void walker's special use of nova bomb. I can go on about the negtive impacts about this. Before when the enemy got both heavy drops I could nova bomb one dude pick up his heavy and try to truth the rest. Now if the enemies get both heavy drops I'm fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked.
But I think bungie had something else in mind. I think they felt maybe heavy was making to big of an impact on the game so they thought if you couldn't pick it up it would end heavy faster. But I'm not sure this would lead to shorter heavy time periods. Before players had more of an incentive to go face to face with heavy because you can steal it. But now (well at least for me) I'm staying much further back and being more careful and if the enemies do the same we'll probably going to have it longer. But Don't Quote Me On that. Bad kids will always run and gun.
What do you guys think

Maybe you should use that super to kill them BEFORE they pick up heavy... *gasp*
