Is Heart of Praxic Fire worth buying? Why?
It will cost pretty much all my remaining Strange Coins...

If you have the raid helmet its worth having lower cooldowns that ability is pretty noticeable

We have a saying in german: Haben beruhigt (Owning it puts your mind to rest)
-
I've had one early on in the game, and honestly even after powering it up it has sat in my vault a very long time, but that's just my opinion, you can spam grenades with Sunsinger super activated, if that at all sounds amazing to you go for it
-
I have all of the warlock exotic gear. Heart is one I use often when I do use sunsinger. I mainly use voidwalker and use obsidian mind on voidwalker though.

don't listen to most of these people. they have no idea what they are talking about. you need to consider a few things when deciding which exotic you want to use, and keep in mind there is no such thing as a "best exotic". They are all situational, with some being better than others during certain instances. As it stands, there are 3 exotics that I would say falls into the top tier for warlock: 1) Heart of the Praxic Fire (sunsinger) 2) Obsidian Mind (voidwalker) 3) Claws of Ahamkara (both) The other ones are very situational, or don't offer any meaningful benefit over the above 3 exotics. I will go in depth for you on the use of all 3 of those exotics so you can make a n informed choice. It is my opinion though that you get all 3, since hey, it doesn't hurt. HotPF: this exotic will increase your damage output while under the effect of radiance. It lowers the cooldown of your skills even further, meaning you will be able to throw even more grenades. The downside of this exotic, is that you have to choose between this armor piece and the fireborn perk. If you save your super as a "just in case I die", then HotPF isn't benefiting you at all, since you need radiance active to receive the benefits. HotPF is best used with either of the other perks besides fireborn. Bad Juju synergizes well with this piece, since you want to have your super up as much as possible. Maxing your grenade cooldown should be a priority if you want to use this to it's fullest potential. Obsidian Mind: This exotic is also very powerful , but for voidwalkers. Essentially, the more kills you get with your super while wearing this helmet, the more super energy you replenish on those kills. It is extremely noticeable how much it gives it, as the amount replenished is very generous. Paired with bad Juju you will have your super up very often. In PvE this combo is good, but not as good as it is in PvP. Generally the only enemies you will be able to easily kill are tier 1's, and some tier 2's. If you don't get kills with your super then this helmet may as well be something else. There aren't any inherent flaws with this exotic, so you are free to choose any perks you want. Intelligence isn't necessary with this helmet since you will be regenerating your super extremely quickly if used correctly. Claws of Ahamkara: This is a defensive pair of gauntlets, and the best one for warlock. It's generally better for sunsingers since you can now have 2 shields on a melee hit instead of 1. It's good for voidwalker also since you now have 2 charges of energy drain, but shields are good in all situations. To get the most out of these you want to max out your melee cooldown so you will constantly have melee attacks ready to trigger the shield effect (or energy drain). You might not be putting out the DPS like the other 2 exotics, but the tradeoff is that you will be ensuring your survival should things get out of hand. If used correctly you don't need to be using fireborn, so you can take other perks instead. While under shielding effects, you can regenerate health while taking damage as long as the damage dealt to you doesn't exceed your shield. This exotic is very good for PvE and PvP alike. In PvP you can stay very close to enemies and win provided you have charges for your melee. Double shields should mean any 1v1 close quarter encounter should be won by you. That's the break down essentially for the top tier warlock exotics. I recomend getting all 3 of them as you will find a use for each. Don't forget you can even swap exotics during combat, so you can make use of HotPF while your super is ready, and claws of ahamkara when it isn't. Good hunting guardian.

Carry 10 rockets instead of 7. Enough said.
-
Exotics are pretty situational. I use Light Beyond Nemesis for the nightfall, since it lets me revive and be revived faster. But I use Heart of Praxic Fire for mostly everything else. I'd say it's worth buying.
-
Because it looks cool. That's all
-
I bought one and don't even have a warlock. But when I start one I'll have it!
-
Yeah i got mine today :D second exotic
-
Yes. You can spam 10grenades in one supercharge it's awesome
-
You buy every exotic you don't have. Need more coins. Make a 2nd or 3rd char. Do weekly. I buy every exotic I don't have. Missing only 2 exotic armor pieces now.
-
I'd go starfire protocal. It gives unlimited grenades and allows you to one shot Crota
-
Yes because you become a fire throwing god.
-
-
Yes, due to rarity and its collector value. You'll get more coins asap
-
Buy the praxic
-
Yep. Looks badass, and get grenades during super faster than you can finish the throwing animation and spam the grenade button. Burn all the things.
-
IMO, if you use sunsinger, and you don't save your super for self-revive, then you should buy it.
-
Yes. Buy it now.
-
Paxic fire with 100% grenade recharge. I can get off 12 fusion grenades (the strongest in the game) during 1 super.
-
-
-
No it's bad
-
Worth buying because it's the best looking armour in the game. Everything else you get from it is just a bonus.

Yes yes yes
