My question is directed to the game designers who are most radical to join us on the forums for a bit.
To start, I enjoy playing the pvp in this game. I've killed a lot of enemy guardians in this game. Usually I play alongside a friend or two, sometimes six.
But i have a lot of friends that play this game, and (to put it bluntly) sometimes i feel like throwing a knife at their face, and have it actually kill em. Tensions can run high in this game, what with running raids and nightfalls and stuff. A little private match PvP would be a fantastic way to blow off the steam of that one dude failing the jump puzzle again during our flawless attempt.
Now i know that the PvP is tied directly to rewards and gear and stuff like that, so a private matchmaking could potentially allow for people to cheat the system.
Which is why I'm totally down for a private PvP mode, where we can pick the map, gametype, etc. but earn absolutely no reward (other than the satisfaction of watching your buddy explode courtesy of your grenade).
What does the community think?
How about the game developers?
If, by a small miracle, they do see and read and deem this thread worthy of a response, Thank you. You just made this guardian's day.

Something that ive wanted for ages, and i know plenty of others have too. I dont see why it hasnt been implemented yet. I would much rather see private games than another cycle of iron banner.
