Best ways to get plasteel plating?
I have over 1000 hadronic essence on my warlock but it takes for ever to just get 25 plasteel plating on my Titan! I only get weapon engrams and green weapons! I have enough gear to get to 32 but I can't because plasteel plating is -blam!-ing impossible to get.

Edited by ChuckTownRC51: 2/28/2015 2:33:44 AMGrind Roc strikes. Equip the blue armor when you turn in bounties. Don't actually upgrade the armor, just fill it with xp (make all the circles green). When you break down the armor that's full of xp you will get 1-2 more plasteel plating for every peice you break down.

I found this to be an issue for my titan as well. Run strikes with both toons and let your titan decrypt the engrams.

1 ReplyI find the fastest way is to farm the exclusion zone for glimmer. There's enough enemies to get a few engrams and the glimmer earned can be used to buy common/rare gear to dismantle from the Vanguard.

Just run roc strikes. It's a total pain but it's the most efficient way of doing it.

Only way to get it is to dismantle titan armour so just run strikes for engrams. I'd also recommend starting up the dark beyond mission (first mission on the moon) go as far as the cut scene for the dead guardian where the doors open and enemies run out. Kill all of them except for the knight and a few acolytes, then die so you don't reach the checkpoint and you should get lots of green engrams.
